PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system in which the configuration of a simulated ball can be simplified and further the position or angle of shooting of the simulated ball with a cue can be specified without limiting the free movement of the cue. SOLUTION: The game system 1 is provided with a simulated ball 14 as an object to be shot by a player and a plurality of image sensors 37 and 37 for outputting the data of images which are provided by photographing a prescribed detection range 41 which is set on the shooting side of the player in respect to the simulated ball 14 from mutually different viewpoint. On the basis of the data outputted from the individual image sensors 37, the three-dimensional (3D) coordinates of at least two representative points 45a and 45b of a cue 45 in a 3D coordinate system which is set in respect to the detection range 41 are specified, and on the basis of these specified coordinates of the representative points, the point and the angle of shooting of the simulated ball 14 are specified.
