PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake fluid pressure control device capable of preventing a vehicle from moving when an operator releases a brake pedal and prepares to depress an accelerator pedal to re-start the vehicle, from the state of being temporarily stopped by a brake operation utilizing the holding control of an ABS, i.e., allowing a hill hold control. SOLUTION: An automatic vehicle with an idle stop function comprises a hill hold control means. The hill hold control means maintains a braking force when the brake pedal B/P is released and the accelerator pedal is depressed by eliminating a bypass circuit bypassing the pressure boosting control valve 5 and a one-way valve installed in the bypass circuit and maintaining the fluid pressure of a wheel cylinder W/C by closing a pressure boosting control valve 5 for a specified time when the initial stage of release of the operation of the brake pedal B/P is detected after the start of control of an idle stop control.
