PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler cap equipped with a device to notify an operator of the state in which the opening/closing operation of the filler cap is inhibited owing to the static electricity charged in the operator. SOLUTION: The operator opens the filler port lid of a fuel tank (not shown) and touches a knob 2 on the filler cap body 1. Since an insulting part 8 formed of an insulating material is provided between a steering wheel 5 and the knob 2, the static electricity charged in the operator's body and clothes flows in a circuit comprising the knob 2, a light emitting diode 10 in the inner space 9, the steering wheel 5, a connecting member 4, an attaching part 6, an attaching member 7, and the vehicle body (not shown), passing in that order. With this circuit formed, and with the light-emitting diode 10 lighted, the operator can confirm the state in which the opening/closing operation of the filler cap is inhibited.
