PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the easy disassembling and cleaning of the screw shaft and the inside of the case of a screw dehydrator having an resistive element for slip prevention arranged in a filter screen. SOLUTION: The screw shaft 7 and the filter screen 8 are housed in an outer shell case 2. The outer shell case 2 is divided into a preceding stage case 5 supported by a stand 1, and a main case 6 following the preceding stage case 5. The cantilever support of the screw shaft 7 is carried out by the preceding stage case 5, and the shaft end is directly connected to the output shaft of a geared motor 3 fixed to the preceding stage case 5. A filter screen 8 arranged inside a main case 6 is separably connected to a main case 6 through a flange 20 and a second flange 25. In the disassembling and cleaning, bolts 48 are removed, then the filter screen 8 is pulled out while rotationally operating it. Thereby, the resistive element 26 is easily pulled out from the screw shaft 7 while rotating the resistive element 26 provided on the inner surface of the filter screen 8 along a helical blade 17.
