摘要 FIELD: self-adjustment processes occurring during frictional engagement on the basis of natural finely-dispersed minerals. SUBSTANCE: method involves initiating self-adjusting triboprocesses occurring upon adding of processing medium into standard lubricants for engines, mechanisms, devices; providing running-in under operating mode. Serpentinite powder with decreased content of magnetite is used as processing medium. Method is characterized in that triboprocesses are controlled by initiating self-adjusting friction processes based on "inheritance memory" of friction unit material under the influence of finely-dispersed natural mineral - serpentinite with phase content, wt%: serpentine 87.4-88.0; iron in isomorphous admixture 8.2-8.6; aluminum in isomorphous admixture 2.2-2.4; silica 0.6-1.0; dolomite 0.6-1.0. EFFECT: increased abrasion resistance, reduced friction resistance and increased efficiency in recovering friction units of engines, mechanisms and devices. 1 tbl
