PURPOSE: A drive shaft for a final reduction differential is provided to prevent noise and improve comfortableness by absorbing and damping axial force of a differential gear joint in turning and by restricting transmission of axial force to the wheel. CONSTITUTION: A drive shaft of a final reduction differential is composed of a body divided into a first body(16) including a differential gear joint and a second body(18) including a wheel joint, and an axial force reducing apparatus fixed in ends of the body to connect first and second bodies and absorb and reduce axial force from the differential gear joint. The axial force reducing apparatus has a first mount(22) fixed in the end of the first body, a second mount(32) fixed in the end of the second body, a damping member connecting first and second mounts, and assembling units combining first and second mounts and the damping member. Noise is reduced by absorbing and damping axial force from the differential gear joint and by restricting transmission of axial force to the wheel. |
