摘要 PURPOSE: A method and a device for controlling uplink transmission power in a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) mobile communication system are provided to separately control transmission power for each channel if more than two channels are arranged on the uplink, and to perform power control for uplink channels if a UE(User Equipment) receiving HSPDA(High Speed Downlink Packet Access) is arranged in a soft handover region. CONSTITUTION: A UE receives a TPC(Transmit Power Control) command from a base station(1001). Whether the TPC command is for an S_UL_DPCCH(Secondary Uplink Dedicated Physical Control Channel) is decided(1002). If so, the TPC for the S_UL_DPCCH is separately interpreted from a TPC for a P_UL_DPCCH(Primary_UL_DPCCH) received from other base stations(1003), to decide transmission power for the S_UL_DPCCH and the P_UL_DPCCH(1004). Whether a time for transmitting the S_UL_DPCCH comes is decided(1005). If so, whether the decided transmission power for the S_UL_DPCCH exceeds a threshold is decided(1006). If not, pilot signals for the S_UL_DPCCH and the P_UL_DPCCH are generated(1007), and the P_UL_DPCCH and S_UL_DPCCH are transmitted with the decided transmission power(1008). In the case of exceeding the threshold in the step 1006, transmission power for the S_UL_DPCCH is decided by applying the threshold for the S_UL_DPCCH(1021), then the step 1007 is returned. If the TPC command is not for the S_UL_DPCCH in the step 1002, the TCP for the P_UL_DPCCH is interpreted(1011), to decide transmission power for the P_UL_DPCCH(1012). After deciding the transmission power for the P_UL_DPCCH in the step 1012 and if a time for transmitting the S_UL_DPCCH does not come in the step 1005, pilot signals for the P_UL_DPCCH are generated(1013), and the P_UL_DPCCH is transmitted with the transmission power decided in the step 1012 or 1004(1014). Whether the UE is out of a soft handover region or HS-DSCHs(High Speed Downlink Shared Channels) are completely received is decided(1009). If so, a normal power control algorithm is progressed, and if not, the step 1001 is returned to repeat the steps.
