FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine gasoline additive contains 30-97% diisopropyl ether, 1-60% isopropyl ether, and 0.001-1.5% alphanaphthol and/or hydroquinone. Gasoline (boiling away by 225 C)-based fuel composition contains 3 to 20 wt % of such additive.
