PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk that has an information recording device such as an IC chip which does not give adverse effect to the revolution balance of an optical disk such as a CD and is not constrained on label design due to the center hole for chucking. SOLUTION: The chucking center hole 5 is covered at the reflector layer side with a film 10 made of an elastic material. An IC chip with an ID number is mounted under the film 10 at the center of the chucking center hole 5. Thus, it is possible to access the information about the information-recording layer of the CD by reading the ID number with the reader provided on the disk chuck. The film 10 is a soft polyvinyl film 0.02 mm thick, one surface of which is aluminum vapor deposited for non-tranparentness. |
