<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin compsn. for a toner excellent in low-temp. fixability, anti-offsetting property, blocking resistance and shelf stability and excellent also in fixing strength. SOLUTION: This resin compsn. is essentially composed of a vinyl copolymer contg. a styrene monomer and a (meth)acrylic ester monomer as constituent units and a low m.p. crystalline compd. having a polar group at a terminal. The vinyl copolymer is composed of a low mol.wt. polymer component and a high mol.wt. polymer component. In this resin compsn., shearing fracture energy per unit area is 100-2,000N/m.</p> |
