The stamped material section, to form a carton or other container for loose materials, has lateral cuts (18) with both ends within the width of the board section (3), intersecting an additional longitudinal cut (17) which, at both ends, has angled second cuts (19) extending to the fold line (7) defining the board section. A third additional lateral cut (15) meets the fold line (16) at its ends (15a). Additional fold lines (20) in the boards (2,4) are between the end points and parallel to the additional cut which, together, form hexagonal fields (21). An Independent claim is included for a machine plant to form the carton blank and carton. |
