PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting method of photographing time information for a digital camera, for accurately and reliably setting photographing time information without trouble in time adjustment or the like to a timer that the digital camera is equipped with, and to provide the digital camera using the method. SOLUTION: When photographing time information is to be recorded to photographing images, in addition to photographing image information, the photographing image information and a counted value tmi of the timer, that the digital camera has, are recorded at a recording section. A difference ΔTi, between the current count value of the timer and the count value in photographing, is compared with the current time, when reading the photographing image information from the recording section, thus photographing time information Ti to each photographing image information is set. |
