PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of preventing the transmission to a mail serve of a nuisance mail sent to a destination mail address formed at random. SOLUTION: This nuisance mail preventive method prevents the transmission of the nuisance mail to the mail server from a client, and has a step for determining whether or not a transmitter mail address of e-mail relayed to the mail server from the client is recorded on a black list by referring to the black list for indicating the transmitter mail address becoming a refusal to the arrival by the transmission to an actually nonexistent destination mail address, a step for restraining a relay of the e-mail to the mail server when the transmitter mail address of the relayed e-mail is recorded on the black list, and a step for sending back a response for indicating the fact of normally executing receiving processing of the e-mail to the client transmitting the relay restrained e-mail.
