PURPOSE: An alighting informing system is provided to be capable of contriving a convenience by making alighting information provided individually when using a public traffic. CONSTITUTION: A stop station guiding unit(107) is installed at each stop station and transmits stop information of each region via local area radio telecommunication. An alighting informing station(200) is configured so as to be carried by a user. The alighting informing station receives the stop information provided from the stop station guiding unit and provides a predetermined message based on the stop information. The stop station guiding unit sends local advertisement information of a corresponding region via communication network(103) such as a pager network, a mobile telecommunication network or an ISM transmission network.
