The lock comprises a half-turn bolt (22) able to move between a retracted position in which the door is free to move and an outlet position where it locks the door relative to the doorframe (8). It comprises first and second bolt driving means which are adapted to be activated from one door side and the other. They are independently operable and comprise releasable inhibition means (44) for the first driving means only. An Independent claim is included for a door with such a lock.
