PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal protection control device capable of always making a detection level for thermal protection control into an optimal value and contributing to a quick thermal protection by reducing a deviation of detection speed. SOLUTION: This thermal protection control device is provided with a temperature sensor 21 thermally coupled to an electric/electronic part, a temperature sensor 22 for detecting ambient temperature, and a control unit 23. Based on the temperature (An) and the ambient temperature (Bn) of the electric/electronic part detected by the temperature sensor 21 and 22 respectively, the detection level for the heat protection control is dynamically changed by digital processing for correction. If the temperature (An) of the electric/electronic part exceeds the corrected detection level, a control signal CS which actuates a heat protection circuit is outputted, thus stopping the operation of the electric/electronic part. |
