PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of a secondary battery for vehicle by preventing overdischarging thereof. SOLUTION: A secondary battery 10 is connected with a motor/generator 14 through an inverter 12. The inverter 12 is controlled by a hybrid (HV) ECU 20. Voltage at each block of the secondary battery 10 is detected by means of a voltage sensor and the current value of the secondary battery 10 is detected by means of a current sensor 24 and supplied to a battery ECU 18. The battery ECU 18 supplies a detection voltage to the HVECU 20. The HVECU 20 compares the detection voltage with a specified threshold value with high priority and if it is lower than the specified threshold value, power consumption of the motor 14 is suppressed thus suppressing discharging amount of the secondary battery 10. |
