PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an MgB2 based superconductive composite material providing a high critical current characteristic and the MgB2 based superconductive composite material manufactured by the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: MgB2 powder 8 is filled in an iron pipe 10, heat treatment is applied to the powder 8 by pulse energization, and area of the powder 8 is reduced to a predetermined size by applying drawing. The heat treatment is carried out in vacuum with oxygen concentration of <=0.1% or in an inert gas atmosphere, concentration of MgB2 is set at 0.5 g/cm<3> or more, and it is carried out within a temperature range of 200-150 deg.C. It is characterized by that the MgB2 is applied with heat treatment by pulse energization in a state suppressing influence of oxygen. |
