PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp information relating to a battery residual capacity of a secondary battery 11 without checking the display of a small-sized electrical apparatus 3, in the small-sized electrical apparatus 3 like a portable telephone using a secondary battery 11 to serve as a power source for driving a functional means 5. SOLUTION: A battery capacity detection means 2 is provided to grasp the present capacity of a secondary battery 11 in real time. Signal information 7 relating to the detected battery capacity can be communicated through a communication means 1 to an external equipment 8 like a personal computer device of pocket type. A display relating to the battery residual capacity is performed in a side of this external equipment 8.
