PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a system and method for suppressing the background crosstalks of a voice signal, which is suitably applicable to a portable telephone or a voice identifying technology in which the configuration is simplified, and the quality of a voice input signal is improved. SOLUTION: In this system and method for suppressing the background crosstalk of a voice signal, since the statistical characteristics of a voice signal are changed, according to the transition of a time, a filter adaptable to the long time and short time characteristics of a voice is used, so that the correlating coefficients can be properly adjusted according to the change of the voice signal; that any unnecessary background crosstalks can be removed; and moreover, the fading of the high-frequency part of the voice signal by the filter is compensated, so that the articulation of the voice can be increased, and that the most satisfactory voice signal can be obtained. |
