PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of downsizing a connector housing, and detecting incomplete insertion of a terminal fitting. SOLUTION: A connector housing 11 is composed of a front housing 12 having a terminal storing chamber 40, and a rear housing 70 fitted in the front housing 12 from an inserting direction of a terminal fitting 50. A locking portion 56 locking the terminal fitting 50 stored in the terminal storing chamber 40 is provided on an elastic wall 55, and a partition wall 72 also functioning as a wall portion 45 is provided on the rear housing 70. By fitting both housings 12, 70 with each other, the elastic wall 55 and the partition wall 72 are superimposed in a range of the thickness of the wall portion 45, and the wall portion 45 is successively formed. A notch portion 58 is provided on the wall portion, and a stepped portion 78 engaged with the notch portion 58 is formed on the partition wall 72.
