PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting receiver with which a program a user desires to view can be received and video can be displayed without requiring a large number of times of key operations. SOLUTION: Corresponding to a single-action search program receiving key provided on a remote control transmitter 10, a search condition such as 'soccer', for example, can be stored in a nonvolatile memory 14. When the user presses the single-action search program receiving key, the program information of each of program is compared with the search condition of 'soccer' by processing in a CPU 13 and when there is a soccer program under broadcasting at present, a command for receiving that program is applied from the CPU 13 to a tuner 2 and a demultiplexer 3. Then, the relevant program is immediately received and video is displayed.
