PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone terminal and a method capable of displaying a mail capable of easily seeing the contents of the mail and surely confirming the whole contents thereof. SOLUTION: When a mail is received during waiting, it is noticed with a preset received sound or vibration. The contents of the received mail are banner- displayed sequentially in a part of a display 27a, for example a mail display area at the lowermost part of a screen. In the case a user overlooks a part of the mail, an already displayed part is redisplayed by pressing a F-key of operation keys 24a. |
