PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively enhance only black components contained in digital image data. SOLUTION: The method comprises three-primary color/four-color conversion steps (S2-S3) of generating second digital image data composed of four-color pixel data including black pixel data by removing base colors from first digital image data composed of three primary color pixel data, a correcting step (S4) of correcting black pixel data of the second digital image data, and four-color/ three-primary color conversion steps (S5-S6) of generating third digital image data composed of the three primary color pixel data by dividing the black pixel data of the corrected second digital image data to other-color pixel data.
