<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit in which a clock switching time is shortened. SOLUTION: This clock generation control circuit is provided with a register to/from where prescribed data can be written or read and this semiconductor integrated circuit inputs a reference clock, and generates a frequency-division clock in the timing of a clock frequency division setting signal. A clock control circuit 8 constituted in this semiconductor integrated circuit is constituted of a state transition circuit 236 for controlling the frequency-division/switching of the clock, a switching timing generating circuit for measuring the switching timing of the clock, and a selection switching circuit for switching the reference clock and the frequency-division clock.</p> |
