<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conveniently provide information regarding a present position of a user without increasing a load of the user. SOLUTION: The user using a portable terminal 1 selects a desired service from a displayed provision service menu. Information of a selected service is sent to a Web application server 2. A GPS satellite 3 outputs positional information. The portable terminal 1 receives the positional information, calculates the present position on the basis of the received positional information, and sends the information of the present position to the Web application server 2 via the Internet 4. The Web application server 2 receives the information of the present position sent from the portable terminal 1 and it sends information regarding the present position and the service selected by the user using the portable terminal 1 to the portable terminal 1.</p> |
