PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation device making the most of the various data of a work machine and peripheral objects prepared in a CAD or the like. SOLUTION: The graphic information and disposal information of works is read from a CAD device or the like to a simulation device. Three-dimensional models 35-37 are laid out on a display screen 38 of the simulation device by using disposal diagrams 31-33 of a robot, work, and table and the shape data. The dot sequence, segments, or faces are specified, and a work dot sequence (for example, the sequence of welding dots) is prepared so that an operation program can be generated. The robot simulation is executed according to the data of the operation program. The operation locus is displayed in an animation format on the display screen 38.
