PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission method that can relieve a load on the CPU of a reception apparatus so as to pre-fetch application data in a short time and to provide the reception apparatus or the like for receiving the data sent by the method. SOLUTION: The operating flowchart of the reception apparatus includes: a step S1 of acquiring first information to designate a data block to be pre- fetched on the basis of module identification or a module label so as to discriminate whether the designation is based on the module identification or the module label; a step S4 of receiving the data block with the module identification attached thereto when the designation is based on the module identification; a step S2 of acquiring second information to indicate the module identification corresponding to the module label when the designation is based on the module label; and a step S3 of receiving the data block to which the module identification denoted by the second information is attached.
