PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a mechanism capable of duplex operation with two CPU cards adopting different CPU means by allowing an image of a main storing means generated by the CPU means to be independent of a type of a CPU means. SOLUTION: A duplex computer system for duplexing its CPU means and allowing these CPU means to synchronously perform the same program, is provided with an emulation library means for absorbing a difference between different memory images generated due to the different machine models of the CPU means when the duplexed CPU means perform the same program.
