PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a call from being suddenly cut off by force even when a user enters a prohibition area unconsciously during the call. SOLUTION: In a portable telephone set 11 for receiving a prohibition signal 42 generated in a prohibition area 50 and prohibiting transmitting by stopping transmission power, this portable telephone set is provided with a signal detecting circuit part 14 for detecting a limitation signal 22 generated in a limitation area 30 outside the prohibition area and a caution output part 16 for outputting a caution on approach to the prohibition area when the limitation signal is detected by the signal detecting circuit part.
