PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery suppressing bulging of a square battery element manufactured by using wound electrodes. SOLUTION: This sealed battery has a battery element in which a wound body formed by winding a positive electrode and a negative electrode which are faced through a separator is made flat, and at least a part of the separator extending from the end surface in the winding shaft direction of the battery element to the winding axial direction is mutually heat sealed. |
