PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device which has a high fixing accuracy of a reflection mirror and realizes a stable optical characteristic. SOLUTION: The optical pickup device reproduces information from an optical disk or records information on the optical disk by irradiating the optical disk with laser light 5, and is provided with a laser unit 2 which emits the laser light 5, a reflection mirror 3 which reflects the emitted light from the laser unit 2 toward an objective lens, the objective lens 4 which focuses the laser light 5 on the optical disk, and a carriage 1 which fixes the laser unit 2 and the reflection mirror 3 and supports the objective lens 4. The optical pickup device is characterized in that the carriage 1 is provided with a fixing part 7 which fixes the reflection mirror 3 at a prescribed angle and a linear contacting part is formed on the fixing part 7 which is linearly abutted on the reflection mirror 3. |
