PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search a stolen or lost object and to provide a client with information of a found object. SOLUTION: In the search system α for which a merchandise sales center server 1, merchandise customer terminals 2A and 2B and search cooperator terminals 3A, 3B and 3C are communication-connected by a communication network 4, in the case that a search of object merchandise is requested from the client who is a user of the merchandise customer terminal, the merchandise sales center server 1 transmits a merchandise individual ID of the merchandise requested to be searched to the search cooperator terminals 3A, 3B and 3C. The search cooperator terminals 3A, 3B and 3C detect a tag ID of the merchandise, and in the case that the detected tag ID and the transmitted merchandise individual ID match, transmits the merchandise individual ID and a present terminal ID to the merchandise sales center server 1. The merchandise sales center server 1 prepares electronic mail in which a merchandise name, a finding position and a cooperator mail address corresponding to the transmitted information are entered and transmits it to the merchandise customer terminal of the client. |
