PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver in which an operational function can be improved by complementarily inputting the channel number of a program matching the taste of a user to a channel number input field when performing tuning by directly inputting the channel number. SOLUTION: The television receiver is provided with a view history storage device 13 for storing the number of a channel tuned by the user and the number of times of tuning, a favorite number registration part 15 for registering a program favorite with the user, a favorite category registration part 16 for registering a category favorite with the user, and a contract information discrimination part 11 for discriminating the contract state of a pay program. A view history analyzing part 14 is provided with a search means for searching the program favorite with the user out of viewable programs matching the numbers until input digits in the channel number input field, a means for complementarily inputting to the non-inputted digits in the cannel number input field and a display means for displaying the list of individual channel programs extracted by the search means.
