PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent kinks from being generated in wiring that is inserted into a pipe especially in a goose neck type microphone. SOLUTION: In the microphone-supporting apparatus, the entire part comprises a cylindrical member, a nesting type stretching pipe 10 is included at one portion, a microphone unit is supported at one end side, the other end side is fixed to a stand base, and at the same time a flexible wiring cord 40 that is connected to the microphone unit is inserted into the inside. In the microphone-supporting apparatus, a surface-smoothed layer 41 is provided at one portion of the wiring cord 40 within a range that is equal to or more than length L1 to an inner surface step section 12a, in a small-diameter pipe 12 from the connection junction section between a large-diameter pipe 11 in a stretching pipe in the maximum expansion of the stretching pipe 10 and another member 22, and is equal to or less than the maximum expansion length L2 or less in the stretching pipe 10.
