PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exchange and an exchange system that transfer traffic information with a period in response to a required period of the traffic information. SOLUTION: The exchange with a function of controlling various traffic information items is configured to comprise: a table for storing a relation between each traffic information and a periodic interval for collecting the traffic information; a traffic database; a traffic collection section that collects each traffic information and stores it to the traffic database; and a traffic transfer control section that reads each traffic information from the traffic database for each periodic interval stored in the table and transfers the information.
