PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode metal foil of electric double-layer accumulating element which can increase a contact area for active substance without deteriorating the strength thereof and can reduce the internal resistance of the electric double-layer accumulating element without deteriorating its quality. SOLUTION: The electrode metal foil is obtained by forming the cross-section of the active substance adhering area of the electrode metal foil element 11 into a waveform progressing in one direction indicated by an arrow mark on the surface of electrode metal foil element 11 while the cross-section is alternately folded in the direction crossing the surface of electrode metal foil element 11. The contact area for the active substance can be increased without making a point where stress is concentrated on the surface of the electrode metal foil.
