PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery superior in charging-discharging cycle characteristics and output characteristics. SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using lithium- manganese complex oxide as the positive electrode active substance, lithium metal, using lithium alloy or a substance capable of lithium occlusion/discharge as the negative electrode active substance, and using a nonaqueous electrolyte containing lithium salt as the electrolyte, the weight ratio of the positive electrode active substance contained in the positive electrode plied timber, the electroconductive auxiliary agent and the binder are taken as x, y, and z respectively, and by making 2.0<=y<=5.0, and 0.7<=z/y<2.5, improvements of the charging-discharging cycle characteristics and output characteristics can be aimed at. |
