PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide magnetic material that can be reduced in eddy current loss by adjusting its manufacturing condition and changing the structure of powder, does not require high-temperature baking, and is high in resistance ratio and low in loss, and to provide a method of manufacturing the material. SOLUTION: This oxide magnetic material is composed of Mn-Zn ferrite powder coated with Ni-Zn ferrite layers formed by an ultrasonic wave-excited ferrite plating method. The base material composed of an Mn-Zn ferrite of the Mn-Zn ferrite powder is composed of 52.0-55.0 mol% Fe2 O3 , 30.0-45.0 mol% MnO, and balZnO and contains at least either one or both of MoO and Bi2 O3 in an amount of >=1 mass% (excluding 0 mass%). |
