<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen display controller having a display mode in which the display parameter of the screen of a portable terminal is set for controlling a display screen suitably to the mental/physical characteristics and use environment of a user. SOLUTION: At displaying large amounts of information on the small screen of a portable terminal or the like, the visual characteristics or use environment of a user are combined, and the several kinds of display modes are prepared. Then, a character size, luminance, and display speed are preliminarily set for each display mode, and when the display mode is selected, the setting of display is changed. Moreover, a luminance sensor is mounted on the portable terminal or the like so that the luminance of the screen can be automatically adjusted.</p> |
