PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a managing method not increasing the number of times a connection confirming process is activated due interruptions by a timer even when the number of other servers or clients connected is large. SOLUTION: The other servers or clients connected, which are divided into a plurality of groups, are described in a client table 16 in correspondence to timer interrupt time set per each group. When a control part 18 is notified that there is an interruption from the timer 17, it activates the connection confirming process, it reads IDs of the other servers or clients of the group corresponding to the interrupt time from the client table 16, and it sends them to a condition confirmation packet sending part 12 and has it execute the connection confirming process.
