DATA STORAGE AND MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of data base by avoiding an error of data to be stored and an error of storage operation in advance when storing and managing data in a server device 1 and an external storage device 2 connected with it. SOLUTION: A storage ledger recording a reference number and a storage place of each data to be stored is stored in a memory part 7 of the server device 1, and a temporary storage region 8 and a normal storage region 9 are provided. When storing data, the data to be stored in the temporary storage region 8 is stored to update the storage ledger and is transferred into data base in the normal storage region 9 after confirming its contents to update the storage ledger further. It is transferred into the external storage device 2 when storage capacity in the normal storage region 9 reaches specified capacity.
