PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to improve washing and rinsing efficiency by dissolving detergent in washing water with operating a pump, and to reduce washing hours by injecting washing water to the upper parts of a washing tub and a dehydrating tub. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine is composed of a case(52) having a detergent inlet(52a) in the upper part; a dehydrating tub(56) suspended in the case; a pulsator(60) and a washing tub(54) rotatably installed in the dehydrating tub for washing; a water supply unit(70) supplying water from a supply hose to the washing tub; and a detergent dissolving unit installed outside the dehydrating tub to dissolve detergent from the detergent inlet in washing water from the supply unit and inject washing water to the upper part of the washing tub. Washing or rinsing efficiency is improved, and washing time is reduced by inputting detergent conveniently and dissolving detergent in water sufficiently. |
