PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver and its carrier recovery method that can obtain a recovered carrier with high phase accuracy even when the S/N of a received signal is deteriorated in a wireless communication system. SOLUTION: The receiver is provided with: a serial parallel conversion means that converts a high-speed broadband received signal into a plurality of parallel signals; a carrier recovery circuit that recovers the carrier signal of the parallel signals with a prescribed method based on a plurality of parallel signals; a plurality of demodulation means that respectively applies demodulation processing to a plurality of the parallel signals on the basis of the recovered carrier signal to obtain demodulation signals; and a multiplexer means that applies parallel serial conversion to a plurality of the demodulation signals to obtain a demodulation data sequence corresponding to the data sequence of a transmission object. |
