PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard device which can be used while widening the register and timbre or the like by an easy cascade connection. SOLUTION: A keyboard 11 has a plurality of keys and key switches for detecting the ON/OFF states of the respective keys and key drive strengths. An MIDI encoder 12a of a control part 12 forms MIDI data on the basis of the output of each of key switches of the keyboard 11, outputs the data from an OUT terminal to the outside and outputs the data to an MIDI merger 12b and a selector 14. The MIDI merger 12b merges the output of the MIDI encoder 12a and MIDI data from an IN terminal and outputs the result to a MERGE terminal and the selector 14. Thus, by connecting a plurality of keyboard devices through the MIDI merger 12a as shown in a figure, the extended keyboard instrument can be easily configured. |
