PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless unit temporary repossessing mode service and its function related with a lost or stolen wireless unit. SOLUTION: A lost or stolen wireless unit is limited by the start up of temporary repossessing mode service through a service provider following a call of a subscriber from another telephone. In the temporary repossessing mode service, one selection from a plurality of temporary repossessing mode options is permitted for the user. Preferably, the more expenditure of the usage of the wireless unit until the discovered wireless unit is stopped in function is limited or completely prohibited. Exemplary temporary repossessing mode option includes the permission of only receive of call or only in-station outgoing call for the lost wireless unit. In another temporary repossessing mode option, all the function are permitted until an every month plan allotment of free minutes is expended, and then the usage of the wireless unit is stopped automatically, or only the receiving call, only the in-station call, or only call to several telephone numbers is permitted automatically.
