PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing barrier ribs is provided to reduce manufacturing procedures and prevent generation of impurity gas, while suppressing emission of noxious gas. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of forming an address electrode and a dielectric layer(32) on a substrate(30); a second step of forming a paste(34) for barrier ribs on the substrate; a third step of forming a water soluble photosensitive vehicle(36) on the paste; a fourth step of exposing the water soluble photosensitive vehicle; a fifth step of developing the water soluble photosensitive vehicle by using a developing agent of pure aqueous solution; a sixth step of forming barrier ribs from the paste corresponding to the exposed portion of the developed water soluble photosensitive vehicle by using a sand blasting method; and a seventh step of baking the barrier ribs. |
