PURPOSE: A 2-dot inversion type liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent the cross talk caused by the deterioration of liquid crystal and the dimming in the traverse direction of a screen not to be recognized by users. CONSTITUTION: A 2-dot inversion type liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of gate lines(103) disposed traversely, longitudinal data lines(105) intersecting the gate lines and having first data lines formed of adjacent two lines to input data signals of an equal phase and second data lines formed of adjacent two lines to input data signals of which phase is inverted from the first data lines, and a plurality of pixels(130) defined by the gate and data lines and formed with thin film transistors. In the pixels, adjacent pixels form coupling capacitance of 1.5-2.3x10-15(F/pixel).
