Method for downloading an user interface module to a terminal connected to a domestic network, with said network comprised of sub-networks of components with their own navigator and devices equipped with at least a memory. A gateway has means for downloading pages and a user interface module. Method involves downloading of an interface module from the gateway to a first terminal with a browser and then display of the same page on a device in the other sub- network without a browser. The invention also relates to a corresponding system.
