PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print medium with vertical bar code adapted for an operability of a bar code reader and making a reading of the bar code simple and efficient. SOLUTION: This bar code C1 is constituted by arranging a plurality of rectangular bars and spaces having a predetermined lateral width in series and printed in parallel to a lateral end of a leaflet 11. This bar code C1 corresponds to information regarding the leaflet 11, for example, an issued date, serial number, a classification of commodity of the leaflet, URL (Uniform Resource Locator) code of a site of a provider of the commodity or the like. Advertisement photographs Aai (Aa1, Aa2,...) of the large number of commodities are printed on the leaflet 11. Vertically arranged bar codes Bai (Ba1, Ba2,...) are printed along a right side border of the advertisement photographs Aai thereof as well as the above bar code C1. |
